Becoming an sponsor or partner
Please take some time to look through this site to get as much information as you can about what we are doing at futureCoders.
Our next pilot programmes will run from:
1st March 2017 to 31st August 2017
1st October 2017 to 31st March 2018
During the pilot programmes we will be running fully as intended, with scope for reflection, for lesson learning and for developing the highest quality in what we do. It is unlikely that the programme will bring in revenue to help sustain it throughout this time and so we are looking for sponsorship funding. £1000 will sponsor one student for one month on the programme. To discuss sponsorship, please contact Karen at email@example.com
In the long term, we will be looking for ways to generate income in order to become self-sustaining. However, it is not anticipated that this will happen for some time.
futureCoders will fulfill a recognised need. Our mission is to support our students to become high quality, highly employable young developers at an earlier stage than post-graduate.
Your donations might help a keen young developer, who completes the futureCoders programme to:
- progress to a Degree apprenticeship or a Level 4 Software Developer apprenticeship with a realistic chance of being able to cope well with this level of study straight from school or college.
- secure a junior developer role straight from school or college.
- progress to a course of higher education (HND, Foundation Degree, Bachelor Degree) with a body of experience already established. This would increase the chance of completing at a high level and of being highly employable on graduation.
Each of the above addresses some of the problems identified by The Tech Partnership in terms of the current UK skills gap.
